Tucker Arensberg Welcomes Three New Associates to Its Pittsburgh Office

PITTSBURGH, PA, November 12, 2025. Tucker Arensberg, P.C., a full-service law firm with offices across Pennsylvania and select locations outside Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce the addition of three new associates: Joseph Carna, Hunter Greenberg, and George Balchunas. Each joins the firm following clerkships and summer associate experiences that reflect the firm’s commitment to developing talented new attorneys and investing in their future.

Joseph (Joe) Carna joins the Business & Finance department and the Estates & Trusts practice group. With a background in tax, accounting, and business planning, Joe assists individuals, families, and closely held businesses with estate and trust planning, tax compliance, and business structuring. Before law school, Joe gained financial and transactional experience at Schneider Downs, PJ Dick–Trumbull–Lindy, and BNY Mellon. At Schneider Downs, he worked with the Estates and Trusts team and the Private Family Office, assisting high-net-worth clients with complex tax planning, estate administration, and wealth management strategies. At PJ Dick–Trumbull–Lindy, he contributed to internal audits and process reviews for large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. At BNY Mellon, he supported financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in corporate finance and strategic decision-making. Joe leverages this practical and analytical experience to help clients navigate planning decisions with clarity and confidence.

Joe earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, completing a Tax Law Concentration and receiving the CALI Excellence Award in Estate and Gift Tax. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance, cum laude, from Duquesne University.

Hunter Greenberg joins the firm’s Litigation Department and Municipal & School Law practice group. She focuses her practice on commercial disputes and advising municipal and school clients on governance, policy, and constitutional issues. During law school, Hunter served on the Moot Court Board and was an editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal, where she also published scholarly work.

Hunter earned her J.D. with Honors from The George Washington University Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Science and Social Policy.

George Balchunas joins the firm’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group, where he has worked as a Part-Time Law Clerk since April 2025. George’s practice centers on restructuring, insolvency, and commercial litigation, supporting clients such as creditors, purchasers of distressed assets, and other stakeholders navigating the bankruptcy process. His experience includes drafting pleadings, conducting due diligence, and developing strategic approaches to protect client interests.

George earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Commerce and received multiple CALI Excellence Awards. He also holds a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
