Tom Clark is passionate about family law and has successfully represented families with the goal of reaching the best possible outcome for all parties for over two decades. As an experienced family lawyer, Tom takes a client-focused perspective to identify and develop the best strategy for the individual client while frankly answering their questions and offering a thorough and realistic expectation of outcome.
Stepping back and really listening to his client and identifying their needs, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills are just a few of Tom’s greatest strengths. Known for his upfront and honest approach, Tom builds a strong rapport with divorcing clients to help them successfully move through a challenging time in their lives. He is a sympathetic listener who works to understand each client’s unique situation and offers straightforward advice for achieving their goals.
Practicing in all areas of family law including child support, custody, and property division, Tom is a respected litigator and negotiator. While he excels at getting results for clients through settlement, he is prepared to fight diligently for clients in court when necessary. Tom is committed to helping clients reach the finish line and utilizes his expertise in setting realistic expectations in order to get there.
A graduate of College Misericordia, Tom received his law degree from the Widener University School of Law. He is a former Senior Deputy Public Defender with the Dauphin County Public Defender’s Office. While working there, Tom was able to litigate numerous felony cases before both judges and juries. In his practice of family law, Tom serves clients in York, Dauphin, Cumberland, Adams, Lancaster, Franklin, Perry, and surrounding counties. Away from the office, Tom values spending time with his family and coaching sports for the teams of his two children.
