Kayla M. Zizzi is a passionate litigator and client advocate dedicated to representing individuals, businesses, and municipalities in both criminal and civil matters. Her practice is evenly split between criminal defense and civil litigation, with a significant focus on commercial litigation and municipal law.
Kayla serves as Solicitor for the Silver Spring Township Zoning Hearing Board, a role she has held for the past two years. She also has experience supporting the Solicitor for Swatara Township, covering meetings, entering appearances in litigation matters, and assisting with various municipal issues. In addition, she represents individuals in applications before zoning hearing boards and works closely with the Dauphin County Land Bank and Dauphin County Redevelopment Authority. Her work with these organizations includes reviewing contracts, handling public records requests, assisting with litigation, and managing conservatorships and other matters that impact community development.
Before joining Tucker Arensberg, Kayla served as Assistant Attorney for both the Cumberland County and Dauphin County Offices of the Public Defender, where she became passionate about public interest work. She draws on her extensive courtroom experience in the Court of Common Pleas, Magisterial District Court, and Appellate Court to advocate for her clients with skill and tenacity.
Kayla’s litigation experience spans every stage of the process—from research and drafting to negotiation, courtroom advocacy, and trial preparation. Known for her keen ability to identify and address both obvious and hidden legal issues, she approaches every matter with compassion, dedication, and a strategic focus on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg and her Bachelor of Arts from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with family, running, and volunteering with local charities and animal shelters.
