During law school, Ian worked as a law clerk for a medium-sized civil defense litigation firm and completed internships with the Honorable David N. Wecht of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ian participated in Duquesne’s Urban Development Practicum where he provided legal assistance to nonprofit organizations and indigent clients. After graduation, Ian volunteered with The Honorable Nora Barry Fisher of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as he awaited his bar admission.
While at Mercyhurst, Ian was a member of the Wrestling team and was recognized as a PSAC Scholar Wrestler and an NWCA Division II All-Academic Wrestler. As a graduating senior, Ian was awarded the Alumni Recognition Award and Mercyhurst’s Intelligence Studies Award for Academic Excellence. Prior to joining Tucker Arensberg, Ian worked at a health care litigation defense firm, where he focused on medical malpractice defense and licensing matters, assisting in all stages of litigation.
