Brittany’s practice focuses on estate planning, general corporate advice, and banking transactions.
As a member of the Estates and Trusts group, Brittany works with families and individuals to assist in the development of a complete estate plan, including financial and health care powers of attorney, as well as living wills. She also works with individuals and health care institutions to assist in guardianship proceedings. Additionally, in her estate practice, she focuses on special needs planning and medical assistance/long term care planning.
Her general corporate work involves representation of clients with regard to a wide variety of contracts and agreements including merger and acquisition documentation, organizational and formation documentation, and real estate transactions, as well as various other corporate dealings. Her banking practice involves representation of financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities, ranging from single bank to multi-bank transactions.
As a member of the Investment Management Group, she works with various financial institutions, corporate fiduciaries and advisors regarding regulation, compliance and a broad range of other legal issues.
Prior to graduating from law school, Brittany was a summer associate at Tucker Arensberg and also interned for three years for the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Juvenile Court Project. While in Dayton, Brittany also interned with Sherrets Law Offices, a firm specializing in estate planning, trust and probate law.
