Previously, Brett worked for a Camp Hill based law firm in their civil litigation, municipal, and administrative law practice groups. During this time Brett had the opportunity to represent a local business owner before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court against the Department of Labor & Industry, Office of Unemployment Compensation Tax Services, following an audit and finding by the Commonwealth that some individuals working for the business were improperly classified as independent contractors.
Prior to pursing a legal career, Brett graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Planning and a minor in Watershed Management. Passionate about natural resources, Brett decided to attend law school as the most effective avenue to address the environmental issues of a modern world. Brett’s appreciation for the outdoors and conservation originates from her lifelong involvement riding and showing horses. Brett understands the industry and how to minimize the risks involved in a dangerous and uncertain sport.
