Tucker Arensberg, P.C. Welcomes Three New Associate Attorneys to the Firm with Experience in Litigation, Legal Research, Personal Injury Defense, and Business Administration

PITTSBURGH, PA, November 13, 2023. The law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C., one of the premier law firms in Pittsburgh with offices in Harrisburg, New York, Cleveland, Beaver, and the San Francisco Bay Area* is pleased to welcome Associate Attorneys Taylor Riedel, Kaitlyn Smearcheck, and Matthew Christoph to our firm.

Taylor Riedel is part of the firm’s Litigation Department and conducts in-depth legal research, prepares pleadings, and handles research assignments for the ERISA group. Taylor earned her Juris Doctorate from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University. During her time at Duquesne, she made significant contributions as the Executive Articles Editor of the Duquesne Law Review. Kaitlyn Smearcheck is based out of the firm’s Harrisburg office and focuses on a wide array of legal matters including trademark and commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and liquor license research. Kaitlyn regularly conducts extensive research and prepares legal documents on diverse topics, ranging from intellectual property to landlord-tenant law. Prior to joining Tucker Arensberg, she held an internship at the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, Torts Litigation Section, where she drafted pleadings and prepared detailed memorandums for depositions. She was also a judicial law clerk in the Middle District of PA and started her career as a paralegal. She is a graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School. Matthew Christoph brings over a decade of experience in business administration, sales, marketing, and managing commercial relationships prior to attending law school. He is a member of the firm’s Business and Finance Department and focuses his practice on business and corporate matters. Matt is passionate about helping clients through the negotiation, structuring, and execution of transactions and regularly works on formations, governance matters, compliance, transfers of ownership, restructuring, and successions or dissolutions—every stage of the business life cycle.
