Tucker Arensberg P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Joy Ransom as a Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Compliance Paralegal in our Insolvency and Creditors’ Rights Department. Ms. Ransom is a seasoned paralegal with a well-rounded skill set and extensive experience working in the finance industry in both the private and judicial sectors.
Joy’s most recent experience was as a Title Insurance Processor for a national insurance company reviewing and assessing complex chain of title and court records, as well as closing and recording of mortgage documents. Prior to that, she served as case administrator with the Office of the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee of the Western District of Pennsylvania (WDPA) where she gained invaluable experience managing the progression of bankruptcy cases from opening to final disposition.
With over a decade of experience, Joy brings deep industry knowledge and a broad range of experience to Tucker Arensberg. She will be supporting our foreclosure and bankruptcy portfolios and assisting with the firm’s Comprehensive Compliance Program.
Joy earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Point Park University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Pittsburgh.
