Nora Gieg Chatha and Brittany Holzer will speak at Representative Dan Miller’s Annual Disability and Mental Health Summit on March 3, 2020 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. This free Summit provides the largest collection of resources in western Pennsylvania for those with disabilities or mental health issues. This year they will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the passage of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act in a bigger venue, doubling the crowd, providing more resources, and increasing their scope across the state.
Nora and Brittany will be speaking on “The Intersection of Elder/Long Term Care and Special Needs Planning.” This session will prompt parents, guardians and caregivers of individuals with special needs to consider their own personal and long term planning needs so that they can better plan and advocate for those they support as they age.
