Scott R. Leah Elected to the Judiciary Committee

The law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. is pleased to announce that Scott R. Leah was elected by the membership of the of the Allegheny County Bar Association for a three year term to the Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Committee is responsible for recommending and supporting those judges and members of the bar who by their character, temperament, professional aptitude, and experience have demonstrated special qualifications to hold judicial office for the various courts. It is the only Committee authorized to consider the qualifications of persons who seek judicial office, to conduct polls, referenda, or surveys concerning candidates seeking judicial office or judges holding judicial office.

Leah is a Shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Department and has a diverse practice, including advising and assisting small and mid-sized businesses, many of them individually or family owned, on the myriad of legal issues they face, advising many companies on labor and employment issues, and acting as the national collection counsel to several large companies, helping them collect money owed to them by other businesses. Leah previously served as the Chair of the ACBA Civil Litigation Section, the largest section in the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Leah received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
