Tucker Arensberg provides a range of services to those engaged in, and providing services to, the natural gas and coal industries, primarily in the Appalachian Basin of Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Western New York and Northern West Virginia. The firm has experience in matters relating to the financing of gas and coal operations and the restructuring of troubled credits. In addition, the firm has been involved in providing legal advice with respect to the equity financing of gas drilling and development projects, including the preparation of private placement memoranda for limited partnership syndications.

We have represented independent gas operators and production companies in a variety of matters including issues the sale and acquisition of assets (including leases, gathering systems and equipment) and title to property, drilling and operating agreements, gas purchase and sale contracts and the transportation of gas. The firm's environmental group has served companies involved in energy operations and to lenders in connection with financing those operations.

Through our Harrisburg office, we have assisted both natural gas producers and consumers with respect to public utility (including transportation, rate and gas purchase issues) and other administrative law concerns.
