Tucker Arensberg's roster of construction-related clients reflects a varied practice, consisting of contractors (large and small), sub-contractors, sureties and owners.

Our lawyers help owners secure project financing and contractors obtain loans and lines of credit to operate their businesses. We examine every aspect of a transaction, from assessing the tax consequences of a project to ensuring that all necessary state and municipal approvals are in place. Once the groundwork for a project has been laid, our attorneys negotiate and draft the necessary contracts.

In the event a dispute arises in the course of a project, the firm is well-equipped to prosecute or defend arbitration and litigation. We handle claims related to project delays, withholding of payments, inferior workmanship or those based on surety bonds. Our lawyers handle litigation under the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act, the federal Miller Act, and Pennsylvania's "Little Miller" Act, and have represented both owners and contractors in filing and defending against mechanics liens.  Our attorneys have appeared in federal and state courts in many jurisdictions and numerous arbitrations under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association, and private arbitrations.

We offer a full range of legal services to our clients, and have helped construction companies deal with tax problems, employment matters, corporate transactions and a host of other legal needs.
