TUCKER ARENSBERG LAWYER RECEIVES PRO BONO AWARD

Pittsburgh —
Gary P. Hunt, Managing Shareholder
of the law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C., recently received the Allegheny
County Bar Foundation's Jane F. Hepting Individual Pro Bono Award.
Mr. Hunt was recognized for his long-term and significant pro bono service. The
Foundation specifically cited Mr. Hunt's 14-year involvement in one case that
has dealt with the dependency and termination of parental rights and adoption
proceedings of four minor siblings.
Mr. Hunt is currently involved in pro bono legal work for the YMCA of
Pittsburgh, Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer and children who are dependents in the
Children in Youth Services program.
"Pro bono legal work helps to keep you in touch with the importance of the legal
profession in our community. Lawyers are uniquely positioned to have a positive
impact on our community in many ways. Many of the things that we can do in the
pro bono context cannot be done by anyone else, so if not us…who?," said Mr.
Hunt.
Mr. Hunt is a trial attorney with more than 20 years of litigation experience.
His practice consists primarily of federal and state court litigation,
arbitrations and ADR proceedings. Much of his practice involves multi-party
claims, including class-action litigation. He has represented both individual
and corporate clients in many different types of litigation.
Mr. Hunt is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of
Pittsburgh Law School.
