Rebecca E. Alcorn
Rebecca is an attorney in the firm’s Business and Finance Group and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction, Energy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Institutions practice groups. Her practice focuses on the representation of corporate clients in a wide variety of legal matters.
Rebecca’s corporate and business work involves the drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements and advising corporate clients on general legal matters. She also assists in mergers & acquisitions transactions by drafting documents and reviewing due diligence materials.
Rebecca has industry specific practices in energy and construction where she has a mix of transactional and litigation experience. In her energy practice, Rebecca has experience with the preparation of oil, gas, coal and mineral title opinions and providing due diligence support and transactional assistance. She has represented energy clients in complex commercial litigation related to failed and fraudulent transfer of title to oil and gas, defective title opinions and royalty deductions.
In her construction practice, Rebecca has drafted and negotiated a variety of contracts. She has also represented engineering firms in complex construction litigation. Prior to joining Tucker, Rebecca worked as an attorney for an international engineering and construction company with expertise in the design, supply, construction and commissioning of coal preparation plants and material handling systems. She drafted and negotiated subcontract agreements, terms and conditions for bid submittals and reviewed construction, engineering and operating contracts.
