Rebecca E. Alcorn

Rebecca is a member of the firm’s Construction, Energy and Real Estate practice groups.  Her experience includes the preparation of oil, gas, coal and mineral title opinions, as well as providing due diligence support and transactional assistance to energy clients. She has assisted with a variety of litigation matters including the representation of an oil and gas company in a vendor payment dispute and the representation of an engineering firm in complex construction litigation.

Prior to joining Tucker, Rebecca worked as an attorney for an international engineering and construction company with expertise in the design, supply, construction and commissioning of coal preparation plants and material handling systems.  She served as procurement counsel with primary responsibility for negotiating subcontract agreements, drafting exceptions and clarifications to terms and conditions for bid submittals and reviewing construction, engineering and operating contracts.

Education and Background: Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with minors in Political Science and History is from Kent State University, summa cum laude, 2005.
