Brittany R. Holzer
Brittany is an attorney in the firm’s Business and Finance Group, in which she is a member of the Estates and Trusts, Investment Management, Long Term Care, Real Estate and Medical Marijuana practice groups. Her practice focuses on estate planning, general corporate advice, and banking transactions.
As a member of the Estates and Trusts group, Brittany works with families and individuals to assist in the development of a complete estate plan, including financial and health care powers of attorney, as well as living wills. She also works with individuals and health care institutions to assist in guardianship proceedings. Additionally, in her estate practice, she focuses on special needs planning and medical assistance/long term care planning.
Her general corporate work involves representation of clients with regard to a wide variety of contracts and agreements including merger and acquisition documentation, organizational and formation documentation, and real estate transactions, as well as various other corporate dealings. Her banking practice involves representation of financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities, ranging from single bank to multi-bank transactions.
As a member of the Investment Management Group, she works with various financial institutions, corporate fiduciaries and advisors regarding regulation, compliance and a broad range of other legal issues.

Honors and Awards: While in law school, Brittany was on the University of Dayton School of Law’s Student Bar Association General Board and was elected Class Secretary in her second year and School Secretary in her third year. Brittany was also nominated as the Marshal of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity in her third year.
Memberships and Activities: Brittany is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Allegheny County Bar Association, as well as an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh. Brittany was also selected to serve on the Family House Gala Committee and the Challenge Program, Inc.’s Gala Committee.

Education and Background: Brittany earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Administration of Justice, with a related concentration in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
Prior to graduating law school, Brittany was a summer associate at Tucker Arensberg and also interned for three years for the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Juvenile Court Project. While in Dayton, Brittany also interned with Sherrets Law Offices, a firm specializing in estate planning, trust and probate law.
