Lisa M. Ventresca
Lisa M.
Ventresca currently serves as Of Counsel to the firm on all immigration
matters. Lisa has focused her practice primarily on employment based
immigration law. Her practice is both national and international in scope
where she provides advice, counsel and immigration solutions to a wide range
of organizations and individuals. Lisa is widely regarded nationally as a
top immigration lawyer and counselor, and currently serves as specialty
immigration counsel for large national and multinational companies.
Lisa graduated
with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 with an
undergraduate degree in Industrial Management and Business. She later
graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992.
Subsequent to her graduation from law school and her admission to the bar,
Lisa accepted a position as Assistant to the General Counsel at Carnegie
Mellon University where she represented the University on issues relating to
the University's international student body and related immigration
matters. She later was a founding partner in the law firm of Ventresca &
Ventresca, LLP where for the past 15 years she has dedicated her practice to
advising and counseling organizations, universities, companies, health care
facilities, high-tech start ups, international corporations, and
multinational executives.
She is admitted to practice law in
Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Western
District of Pennsylvania. Lisa is a member of the Allegheny County Bar
Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She
has also served as a Pittsburgh Division Liaison to and conference speaker
for AILA.
