Kenneth M. Ventresca
Kenneth M. Ventresca currently serves as Of Counsel and advisor to the firm
on all immigration matters. Ken has focused his practice on
employment
based immigration law, as well as in the areas of corporate law, mergers and
acquisitions, taxation and estates and trusts. His practice is both
national and international in scope, providing advice, counsel and business
solutions to a wide range of organizations and individuals. Ken's unique
background in immigration law and the taxation of foreign nationals has made
him a valued counselor for large national and multinational companies.
Ken graduated with University
Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 with an undergraduate degree
in Industrial Management and Business. He later graduated from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992. Subsequent to his
graduation from law school and his admission to the bar, Ken was appointed
as assistant to the General Counsel at Carnegie Mellon University where he
represented the University on issues relating to the University's
planned-giving programs and international student body and related
immigration matters. He later was a founding partner in the law firm of
Ventresca & Ventresca, LLP where for the last 15 years he has dedicated his
practice to advising and counseling high net-worth individuals, small and
mid-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations and multinational
executives on issues related to immigration, international taxation, mergers
and acquisitions, corporate law and estate planning.
Ken is admitted to practice law in
Pennsylvania. He has been admitted to practice before the United States
Tax Court and before the United States District Court for the Western District
of Pennsylvania. Ken is a member of the Allegheny County Bar and is a
frequent lecturer on estate planning, taxation, immigration law and corporate
law.
