Kenneth G.
Scholtz, an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department, concentrates his
practice in the areas of general litigation including representing public
utilities, manufacturers, small businesses, school districts and municipalities.
Ken has successfully represented both individuals and businesses in matters
involving property damage, workers’ compensation, contract disputes, real estate
transactions and general employment issues. He has also represented school
districts and municipalities in various matters including property assessment
appeals and general litigation issues.
Ken graduated from Bucknell University in 1998, with a B.A. in Political
Science. He joined Tucker Arensberg after graduating from the Pennsylvania State
University Dickinson School of Law, in May 2001.
Ken is
a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He
has been selected as an Allegheny County Bar Association Young
Lawyers' Division Liaison for Professional Ethics. Ken recently
completed the Trial Advocacy College Program at the University of
Virginia, and also participated in the Leadership Pittsburgh program
and is a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative XII. Ken is
an active member of the Bucknell Alumni Association and volunteers as
an advocate for victims in the Family Division of the Court of Common
Pleas of Allegheny County in Protection From Abuse Orders.
