Katherine E. Koop

Katherine E. Koop is an Associate in the firm's Litigation Department where she concentrates her practice in general commercial litigation. Katherine received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science, Legal Studies and German Language from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.  While attending Pitt, she was a law clerk for the Association of Magistrate's Courts in London, UK.

Katherine received her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2007.  She was the Managing Editor of Duquesne Law Review, Chair of the Women's Law Association-Woman of the Year Award, and participated in Moot Court.  Katherine obtained a certificate of study in Chinese Law while attending the Chinese University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, Peoples Republic of China. She was recently published in the Health Lawyers Magazine, September 2007 and was a Tucker Arensberg summer associate.

She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and Western District of Pennsylvania. Katherine is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, including the Women's and Young Lawyers Divisions.
