Danielle L. Hodnicki
Danielle L. Hodnicki is an attorney in the firm's litigation department and
concentrates her practice in general civil and commercial litigation.
Danielle represents public utilities, hospitals, insurers, corporations, small
businesses, school districts and individuals in a wide variety of claims. She
has handled numerous disputes including matters involving theft of trade
secrets, violations of restrictive covenants and employment agreements,
contractual disputes, property damage claims, premises liability matters and
collections.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science and
Communications, Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. She
received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2005.
While in law school, she served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta legal
fraternity.
Danielle is licensed to practice before all Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia
state courts. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District
Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court
for the Northern District of West Virginia and the United States District Court
for the Southern District of West Virginia.
She
regularly represents victims of domestic violence at protection from abuse
hearings through Neighborhood Legal Services.
She was recently elected to a two-year term on council for the Young Lawyers
Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and also serves on the
education committee. She was previously a member of the 2006-2007 Bar
Leadership Initiative program and is active in the Women in the Law Division.
Danielle is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Ohio Bar
Association, the West Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
