Jonathan I. Grossman
Jonathan I. Grossman, an associate with the firm is a member of the Employee
Benefits Practice Group. Examples of legal services that Jon provides include:

- qualified retirement plans, such as
traditional defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution plans
including 401(k) new comparability features

- retirement plans for non-profit and
governmental entities, such as 403(b) and 457(b) plans

- nonqualified deferred compensation
plans and other arrangements subject to Code Section 409A

Counseling clients on the administration and
operation of all types of employee benefit plans, including Qualified Domestic
Relations Orders and compliance with the requirements of the Employee
Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code

Counseling clients on the benefit implications
of mergers and acquisitions

Advice on specific issues such as fiduciary
liability, fiduciary liability insurance coverage and withdrawal liability
under Taft Hartley plans
Educational Background
Jonathan earned his
undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from
The University of Pittsburgh Law School. He is on the Board of the Lloyd Institute,
a non-profit entity that provides Employee Benefit seminars with the proceeds
being donated to charity. Jon is also a member of the International Foundation
of Employee Benefit Plans.
