Stephen M. Greecher, Jr. Receives the 2017 Richard B. Tucker, Jr. Award

The law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. is pleased to announce that Stephen M. Greecher, Jr. was presented the 2017 Richard B. Tucker, Jr. award at the annual employee appreciation lunch. The Award of Distinction is named in honor of one of the Tucker Arensberg’s past leaders and is presented to an attorney who demonstrates that same level of commitment that helped build the firm.  Mr. Tucker was known for his outstanding professionalism and generous contribution to the firm, the legal profession and the community.

Stephen M. Greecher, Jr., is a shareholder in the firm’s Harrisburg Office and joined the firm as a law clerk in 1980 and an associate in 1982.  He has spent his entire career with only Tucker Arensberg (or its predecessor). Steve has mentored Associates, paralegals and staff members and his door is always open to anyone, regardless of whether it is an attorney or staff member.

Steve devotes much of his time to the East Shore YMCA and has served as the chair of the Annual Support Campaign, where he continuously raises funds for this deserving organization.  He also serves on the Executive Board of the YMCA as the Chairman.

Finally, Steve’s impressive contribution to the legal profession includes the countless hours performing his duty as the Pro-Bono Coordinator of the Federal Bar Association for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.  He spends a lot of time on Pro Bono matters to help others.

Steve received his B.A., with high distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University. He was awarded a Master’s Degree in Public Administration by Penn State and received his J.D. from Dickinson School of Law, magna cum laude.

Steve is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Federal Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.  He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Justice.
