Three Attorneys Elected as Shareholders at Tucker Arensberg, P.C.

The law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. is pleased to announce that 3 attorneys were elected to the firm’s membership (shareholders) effective November 1, 2016.

The new Shareholders are all members of the business and corporate group and practice out of the Pittsburgh office. Newly elected Shareholders include:  Kristin A. Biedinger,  Peter A. Spangler and Carolyn A.W. Whitworth.

Kristin A. Biedinger’s practice includes all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights.  In addition to traditional intellectual property matters, Kristin regularly counsels clients on legal issues in emerging technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), data security and protecting confidential information in cloud-based IT environments. Kristin serves on the Board of Directors for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a global organization focused on healthcare IT. Kristin earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and a B.S. at the University of Pittsburgh.

Peter A. Spangler works with clients on a broad variety of business matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions work, financing transactions, commercial real estate leasing and sale transactions, contract review, negotiation, and preparation and medical marijuana. Peter is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where he received a B.A., and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Carolyn A.W. Whitworth’s practice encompasses all aspects of estate planning and administration. Her clients include young adults and new parents, growing families, baby boomers approaching retirement, and business owners transferring a business to the next generation. Specific services include: Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Trust Planning, Trust Administration and Business Succession Planning. Carolyn graduated summa cum laude from Bridgewater College; she received her law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.
